    Safe & Effective Use

    We understand that children love to explore their environment, however, the MakerWall was not designed to be used as a climbing structure. Please ensure your MakerWall is properly installed and be aware of the weight capacities of each individual attachment. 

    Materials

    The Makerwall is crafted from Baltic Birch Plywood. The face of the slotboard is finished with with a clear Non-VOC UV cured resin finish. All edges are sanded to a smooth burnish.

    HOW DO I ENSURE A SECURE INSTALLATION?

    We recommend that each batten be securely screwed into at least two studs. There are a few key indicators that this has been successfully accomplished that we will include with the installation instructions.

    WHAT TOOLS ARE NEEDED FOR INSTALLATION?

    Tools needed for installation are a power drill, tape measure (included), pencil, and drivers (included) for the various hardware (included).

    Tools helpful for installation are a stud finder, level (included), 3/16” Drill Bit (included), and Pin Nail (included).

    WHAT IF THERE IS A POWER OUTLET IN THE WAY OF WHERE I WANT TO INSTALL MY BACKBOARD?

    We understand that children love to explore their environment. As such, in addition to ensuring a secure installation, each attachment is designed to strength requirements that acknowledge this reality. The maximum weight capacities will be clearly messaged at the time of purchase, and will be included with the installation guide.

    WHAT IF I GET WATER ON MY MAKERWALL SET?

    Wood, by its very nature, is designed to suck up water. In order to be able to offer the MakerWall at an accessible price, we are not finishing the edges with a waterproof finish, but are instead sanding all touchable edges to a smooth burnish. As such, we do not recommend using water on your MakerWall.

    How does this set "grow" with your child?

    The MakerWall Growing Wardrobe Set includes accessories that can be positioned in areas that are accessible to your child as they grow. When they are younger, it may be more beneficial to have the mirror lower on the pegboard. As they grow, you can move racks and shelves to reachable areas to allow your child to dress independently!

    great peg board that will grow with us overtime

    Overall, I really like this wall organizer. Aesthetically, it's very nice, simple and can go with any decor. It seems well made (only time can really tell and we've only had ours up for a week).
    It was a simple solution to our entryway needs. Our kids needed a solution for hanging up their backpacks and coats. Our space only allowed for the vertical orientation. If I had space, i would defiantly opt for the horizontal board so I could have more pegs at levels that my kids can access. With the vertical orientation, coats are hanging over backpacks. It's fine but a little crowded. We can't use the seat because we need all of our hooks low. This is a winter issue as each kids has multiple coat options. A caddy for hats, mittens, neckwarmers would be a great addition - you could add baskets to the shelves.
    Even though my kids can't utilize the top of the organizer now, I know that this will grow with our family as they grow.
    Our board came minorly damaged. The company was amazing and immediately sent a replacement.

    Versatile furniture that everyone in the family can use

    The markerwall is used everywhere in our house: in the kids' bedrooms, our office and the living room. Everyone in the family can use it for different purposes. We love its flexibility and high quality.

    Perfect!

    The MakerWall Pegboard is perfect for our newly designed kitchen. (We actually designed the kitchen entryway to fit the Pegboard--and we LOVE it!) It's incredibly well made, sturdy, and so versatile. I love that we can rearrange the accessories as the seasons change and as our kids grow.
