Ordering & Discount Questions
What does the school bulk order process look like?
For bulk school orders that exceed $5,000 we recommend placing through our quoting process. Requesting a quote will help ensure you receive the best bulk pricing as well as the most accurate production time frames. If you have questions, specific needs, or need things changed on the quote, be sure to ask during the quoting process. Our Sales Specialist will do their best to work with your needs and answer your questions.
When you’re ready to finalize the order, the sales specialist will send you the formal invoice through Quickbooks.
Once payment terms are met, our team will begin production of your order. Once complete, the order will be shipped through ground shipping or palleted freight depending on size.
What is a school bulk order?
Any school order that is over $1500 or includes 5+ of the same item, can qualify as a school bulk order.
How much is the school bulk order discount?
Orders qualify for different discounts depending on the size of the order.
- $0-$1499 qualifies for a 5% discount
- $1500-$4999 qualifies for a 10% discount
- $5000+ qualifies for higher discounts. Request a Quote for more information
Can I place my large order directly on the site?
Yes, you can; however, for orders over $5,000, we may require additional time to produce your order. Order lead times on the website are only accurate for small orders. If you need more accurate information regarding a large bulk order, we recommend requesting a quote.
What items qualify for bulk order?
All items listed under the school section qualify for bulk ordering. Most items on the home section also qualify for bulk orders.
As bulk orders are intended for school and commercial environments, we do not allow home tables, seating, and select other items on a bulk order. These items have a school grade alternative that is designed to handle the wear of the school environment.

Can I bulk order value-grade items?
Value-grade items do not qualify for school bulk ordering. We only have limited quantities of any given value-grade item at any particular time, and the available quantities change quickly.
If you are interested in ordering value-grade items you will need to place the order directly through the Value-Grade Collection.
What countries qualify for school bulk orders?
We currently offer freight shipping within U.S. and Canada. If your organization resides in another country, we encourage you to inquire about international shipping options. We offer standard international rates for orders placed directly on our site.
Payment Questions
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept ACH, wire transfers, and checks. If you prefer to pay with a card please speak with our sales specialist for additional information.
What are your payment terms?
For orders less than $5,000, full payment is required before the order will be submitted to production. For orders over $5,000, a 50% down payment is required to start production, with full payment required in order to ship.
If you need alternate terms please let our sales specialist know. Alternate terms must receive special authorization ,which the specialist can request on your behalf.
Do you accept POs?
Yes, we do accept POs; however, we do need you to tell us what payment terms you are looking for as different organizations and schools use POs differently. Unless clarified, we will assume you accept our standard terms and conditions as listed on the quote.
Do you have a W-9?
Our team can provide a W-9 if needed. Please email projects@sprout-kids.com to request a copy.
How do I get Tax-Exempt applied to my order?
Please email a copy of your tax-exempt form to projects@sprout-kids.com and our sales team will help get that set up for you.
Production & Shipping Questions
How long will production take?
Since we craft all of our products to order, production times vary depending on current production availability. Typically, most school bulk orders are ready to ship within 3-8 weeks, although occasionally it may take longer. For a more specific timeframe tailored to your order, our sales specialist will provide you with details as part of the quoting process.
How long does shipping take?
Shipping times vary based on the location of the shipping address. Most shipments are able to be delivered in 2-5 business days, though occasionally it may take longer. If you need the order to arrive by a certain date, please be sure to communicate that with the sales specialist.
Are you able to deliver products on a specific date?
We are not able to guarantee product delivery on a specific date. However, if your order is shipping via pallet, you can request that an appointment be required for delivery. The shipping company will then reach out to schedule a delivery time with you.
Can I order early and have it delivered later?
Yes, you can absolutely place an order early and schedule it to be shipped at a later date. We strongly encourage ordering early, particularly if you require delivery in July or August. These months are typically our busiest periods for school orders, and we operate on a first-come, first-served basis. By ordering early, you can secure your place in our production schedule and ensure your desired delivery time of your items.
Will my order be shipped via pallet?
The majority of school bulk orders are shipped via pallet. However, if the order isn’t large enough to warrant a pallet, we will ship it via a standard shipping method. Please note that we reserve the right to determine how all school bulk orders ship.
For pallet shipments, we require lift gate delivery to ensure that even small home schools can receive their pallets. Standard pallet delivery is to the curbside. For upgraded service options, please ask our sales specialists.
Does my bulk order qualify for free shipping?
All orders shipping within the contiguous U.S. that are over $100 qualify for free shipping, including school bulk orders.
If you do not qualify for free shipping, the shipping cost will be included on your quote.
Do you have a catalog?
Yes, we have a digital catalog, or you can request a printed catalog. Most printed catalogs will arrive in 5-10 business days from when the request was submitted.
Do you offer material samples?
We do offer free material samples. Please email our sales team at projects@sprout-kids.com to request material samples.
For international requests, shipping costs must be covered by the requester.
Return & Warranty
What is your return policy?
We have a 45-day return policy from when the order ships. Customers are responsible for packaging the returning products and covering the return shipping cost.
