Food is a large part of a child's life. Not only does it provide nutrients to grow, but it gives children the opportunity to develop independence, practical skills, and likes/dislikes. You can also take advantage of this daily activity and use it to spend quality time together as you teach and learn together. Giving your child responsibilities and including them in preparation can create a child-led eating experience for them, which can look different for every family.
