Lexico Book Display Shelf

Shipping was pretty quick considering it is holiday season and the product came out great. The items were well wrapped and packed with care. It took me maybe 15 minutes to assemble alone as the instructions were extremely easy to follow. I also had watched the video prior to its arrival but the written steps are just as clear. I am super pleased with my purchase and can’t wait to order more in the future. Thank you!

Love how easy it was to put together, and that it has flexibility for different book sizes. It was easy to tell this quality is superb compared to most cheap furniture pieces. I’m so glad I splurged on this that will hopefully last our family for years to come!

My daughter saw this bookcase and wanted it for her baby boy's room. He's due in Sept. I purchased it and they absolutely loved it. The wood is a great color that goes with other wood tones. If you're wondering whether to get it, don't hesitate. Customer Service was wonderful as well.

Beautiful smooth wood and sturdy bookshelf that also holds some toys! My grandson now spends more time looking at the books due to how visible they are in the bookshelf.

The beautiful wood pieces were perfectly cut and sanded. They fit together as intended. It’s a very well designed unit. A few of the pieces are similar and could be confused, since there’s no labeling of the pieces. Identification of specific wood pieces is based on recognizing them from a small image on the instructions.
Assembly would be easier if wood pieces had small stick-on and easily removed labels.

This is the perfect bookshelf for my son's room. I like how low profile yet sturdy it is and the ability to display the book covers is so much nicer than regular bookshelf setup for kids.

This is a great piece of furniture that was easy to assemble. We get so many complements on it. Our toddlers use it every day and the design makes it easy for them to tidy up after reading. I forgot to apply a discount code at checkout and the customer service team was responsive and helpful!

This was the very first furniture we bought for our baby. It has been being used since day 1. Now, he is 16 months old and he uses it multiple times a day and when he grows up I am hoping to purchase a larger one to place in a different part of the house. The quality is always top notch with Sprout Kids. We have almost everything from here and we couldn't be happier.

I use the lexico book stand at home with my children. It’s strong and beautiful, and I love setting up book supplies for my own children. As a Montessori guide it’s so important to me that my kiddos develop a love for reading, and this book stand is the way to go!

It was so easy and satistying to assemble the large bookshelf as every piece perfectly interlocks. It blends in our white/beige interior design like it's always meant to be here. My daughter is only 7.5 months and she already enjoyes reading each cover of the books. I can't wait to see this bookshelf lasting through many more years and future kids!

We have the large book shelf and it fits so many of our books on there for both our kids. The size is perfect for our home and it is the focal piece in our reading nook. I love how it encourages and helps foster a love for reading amongst my daughters.

We love this book shelf! since it’s a display shelf it’s saves a lot of space instead of the traditional bookshelf. Sprout truly has the best products and great quality!

Very hard to assemble. Nothing like in the video. It can be done without tools but the steps which suggest you just need to slide parts in actually require: lots of banging, kicking, supporting all of your body onto it, and tilting back and forth. Just when you manage with all that effort to insert the ledges into the shelves, you have to place those shelves into the side parts. Even with two people holding, the shelves are likely to fall during this placement and then during tilting of the unit to stand upright - so expect scratches to your legs and getting your legs all banged up as the heavy shelves fall, fall, and fall over again. It is sturdy though when you somehow get it all finally done.

I have to say this is the best book shelf I can find and see in the market, especially for a toddler, a Montessori kid to be precise. The design is seamless, I really appreciate there's not a single screw used (you will see a lot of book shelves out there put together with screws and you can see the screws from the outside). The shelf is aesthetically beautiful yet simple and sturdy.

I bought the shelf last year and it was not difficult to install, with some effort needed of course (and the help of the video), but what doesn't? It displays the books very well and my 2-year old son loves it. I also bought the Alba Montessori Children's Wardrobe, the baskets, and the 26Hx24W Birch Montessori Self, all are excellent products to create a Montessori home environment for my son.

Best purchase ever! I plan to buy the floor bed and more shelves too.

I am 8 months pregnant and put the small shelf together myself. I didn't need tools, just my hands and a wall and chair to prop each side on. It was only frustrating when it slipped off the wall a couple times and fell apart, but it wasn't the shelf's or Sprout's fault. The instructions recommend two people to build it, but I couldn't wait until my husband got home!

PS I have also put together the infant shelf AND floor bed myself (7 months pregnant). The way Sprout builds takes some getting used to, but I guarantee most complaints are user error. The instructional videos COULD be more clear about which direction to insert the pegs into the slots. That's where I messed up a lot in the beginning.

We purchased this bookshelf a few months back and are very satisfied! The quality of the wood is really great, it has a nice finish that will protect the wood against inevitable supply cup spills. It holds just the right amount of books. I like to rotate them every week or so to mix up the selection. It’s the perfect height and my son has fun sitting and selecting books for himself. The bookshelf was easy to assemble, however I needed my husband‘s strength to secure the pieces. Overall very happy and highly recommend!

So it the best purchase I did!!! My baby was not into books until I put all her books on this shelf, now she chooses books and we read together, before it was just a messy pile of books on a floor. But now she is so in love reading books. It is a game changer. Love it! 10 stars!!!
